Bankruptcy action against the high-profile founder of a major construction group has been scrapped, while a string of company collapses is worth more than $40 million.
It came as the liquidator of Heinrich Constructions revealed its director had personally borrowed more than $7.7 million from the company.
Heinrich Constructions, which was renamed Starcrest Constructions in February ,the day before going into administration, is headed by Queensland racing identity Gerhard “Hoss” Heinrich.
