BCIPA is the Building and Construction Industry Payment Act 2004.
The BCIPA is a cost effective adjudication process to get paid for work or goods supplied in the building and construction industry if there is a dispute.
From the QBCC website:
"It doesn't matter whether the contract was for construction work or the provision of goods or services to the construction industry, or even if it was only a verbal agreement and not written down, as long as the contract was agreed to after 1 October 2004 and the work carried out in Queensland, you may be able to use the adjudication process under the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004 (BCIPA).
The registry will let you know the right way to follow the adjudication process.
