Devastated customers of failed home builder Porter Davis could be dealt another blow over fears an eleventh hour move that could save the business has stalled.
The CEO of Melbourne real estate investor MIG & Sons, Amit Miglani, offered to buy out the company outright following its collapse last month.
“In terms of buying … it means buying the whole business, keeping all the jobs, keeping all the subcontractors and finishing up all the unbuilt [projects],” he told 3AW hosts Jacqui Felgate and Jimmy Bartel, who stepped in for Ross and Russel this week.
“About 770 or 800 contracts have been signed and the work hasn’t been started – [we want to] finish them as well.
